Love your neighbor as yourself.
When Pearce and Hank first decided to explore opening a brewery, their dream was to be in a location where people could walk, ride their bikes, push their strollers, and have a comfortable place to relax. There was no better place for them to open a brewery than in Park Circle.
Park Circle is an amazing jewel in the crown of Charleston. It has a rich history and a diverse community full of people who care about their neighborhood. The Park Circle area was one of the first areas to be designed and developed in what would later become North Charleston. The original developers laid out sections for industrial, commercial, and residential usage. Park Circle was planned as one of only two English Garden Style communities in the US, and most of the original planning concept remains today.
After the Charleston Navy Base shut down, the Park Circle area saw a period of economic decline. However recently, Park Circle is experiencing a renaissance based around new development, small business creation, and residential growth.
Commonhouse Aleworks is excited to be a part of the growing and thriving Park Circle community and commits to not just being a resident but also an engaging part of the community.
